MaryScott….Thanks for the Memories

When someone comes into your life, you are not always sure what it will mean for you and your life.  Over five and half years ago, MaryScott King called… Lizz Pellet gave me your number and said to call you.  I will be in Arizona with my mother, MaryLisle on our vacation; I would like to make an appointment with you.”

Little did I know that MaryScott’s appointment would change my life so deeply, so profoundly and so lovingly.   This is how her conversation went.  “I have a great job, I own a great house, I have a boyfriend, everything looks great on the outside.  But I am miserable.  When can we get started?” I said, we just did!!!

For me this is the usual because individuals and families make an appointment with me to resolve issues.  Not that any of us would have issues?  Huh???  MaryScott had her first appointment.  By the way she was on crutches.  She had an operation on her left leg, her female side. From a consciousness standpoint, she was not standing for her truth, she was cut off at the knee, her female creative side and she was somewhat (?) angry?   Huh, could this be any and all of us.

We all know the past is not always clear and we are not always clear because of our past.  Most of the times we are not always conscious or clear about the emotional hooks we have to the past, which definitely affects the current time.  As the past and future collide in our cells looking for ways to let the dysfunctional past go, we get depressed, sick or sometimes we are just sad.  We can’t always express what we are feeling.

As MaryScott clearly comprehended the emotional attachments to the past, she completely comprehended… you cannot heal through your computer/brain, you have to do in the body.  The body stores everything.   Healing can’t happen in the brain. Healing can not be rationalized.   MaryScott and I would laugh…”ever met a loving, huggable computer. NO!!!! Never can happen! The heart is where healing starts.”  MaryScott has the most wondrous heart.

From the moment of her first session, MaryScott knew something was happening but she wasn’t sure exactly what. After the first session, she went on vacation.  A week later I received another call from MaryScott.  “I feel different.  Before I return to California, can I have another appointment?”  Here’s comes MaryScott and her mother both for a session each.  Hmmmm!  Things are beginning to look changed.

Without any questions or buying into the proverbial…”I am not ready” B. S., MaryScott and her mother signed up for the Intuitive Powers/Practical Applications Course I.  There was none of that nonsense… “I am not ready.  Maybe someday I will look at my B.S. stuff.”  No, not MaryScott!  She and her mother took the class together… very brave and courageous.  Her cells were very excited.  So was MaryScott!

MaryScott not only did Intuitive Powers/Practical Applications I, she signed up for II and III.  She was on a mission for her Self.  She was determined to invest in her Self, her life, her relationships, her profession, her everything in life.  She was not going to be stopped by a computer/brain and limited B.S. Programs.

One of my favorite phone calls I received from MaryScott.  She was upset with her boyfriend. Go figure?  She asked me what she should do.  I said.. “MaryScott, you asked me, so I will share this advice…apologize, you are out of line.” There was a silence,  a sigh of upset. But, Sherry, I thought you were on my side.  I replied.. “MaryScott I am on your side.”   She considered my advice for a moment and replied…”you know, I do owe him an apology.  My Childish Adult Ego is out of control.”  We laughed.  How conscious!  No blame game for MaryScott.  Would not it be great if everyone saw their side of the relationship clearly!  Not that are not challenges.  We create the challenges anyway.

To say that life changed for MaryScott is an understatement.  Not only did MaryScott’s view of life expand exponentially so did her sister HelenLisle life change.  Watching the two of them, and still seeing the connection between them is amazing. After taking all the courses HelenLisle wrote the words to the QuantumPathic song, Cut the Bands.  This is another blog to share more of the experiences with the wondrous King family.  As Paul Harvey says…”there is more to the story” and there is!!

Over these years, MaryScott audited the courses many, many times.  She invested her time wisely for her life.  She, without question, dove into her issues, getting to the core of them at her cellular level of consciousness.  As the non-emotional observer, she looked at all aspects of her life.  Only questions to ask… “Where are those perceptional issues buried in my body? I am after the truth, not the B.S.  I demand the truth from my Self.”

MaryScott got to the core of the issues without blaming anyone or anything.  She owned her stuff in the most brilliant and loving way.  She never said I am not ready. She said.. “I am ready to know my Truth, no matter what it takes.  No matter how many tears I might cry, or not like what I am hearing and seeing, I am ready.”

Throughout these experiences with MaryScott, a marvelous friendship developed.  We became Soul Sisters.  We shared our favorite hobby…shopping!  We shopped til we dropped.  On one excursion we shopped, ate, laughed and continued to shop for eleven hours.  Did we buy lots of stuff?  Not really, we just enjoyed the moments.  We shopped from Arizona to California and even in Michigan, having the best times.

Many other times MaryScott just came to QuantumPathic not as a student or client, but as a friend.  She loved sleeping in the healing room on the healing bed. Bobbi Girl, the healing kitty, loved her deeply. Sometimes she cuddled with MaryScott until she slept soundly. When MaryScott would awaken, Bobbi Girl would be there to greet her in the morning.  They were the best of buddies.

Over the last year, MaryScott told me in so many ways how much she loved her life, her relationships, personal and professional.  Her motto Live, Love and Laugh.  She lived this mantra.  In July of 2009, we celebrated her 50^th Birthday with 13 gals who experienced Intuitive Powers/Practical Applications III together.  She glowed.  On July 10, 2010 at her 51^st Birthday Party, we celebrated her life and her January transition.  She was also here in Spirit.  We felt her presence.

So many of the individuals who have come to the QP Center over the years developed deep relationships, deep friendships.  We became a community.  Who knew?  There are no words to express the depth of the unconditional love and deep caring that happen here.

It may seem unbelievable.  But it is not.  Believable and amazing… the friendships and experiences that happened during these five and half years that MaryScott came to QP profoundly changed many lives. In gratitude, gratefulness and thankfulness we are all so much better for MaryScott.

So in tribute to her, we lived, loved and laughed together for this very special celebration in honor of MaryScott King.  Her message for all us, live each day as if it is the first day of your life, love deeply in your hearts without conditions, and laugh at your Self for taking life too seriously. MaryScott we honor you for making a difference in our lives.  For all of us who knew you, we are grateful!  Your laughter is still heard!!!  Happy Birthday, MaryScott!  To newness where ever you are!
