Lori Hanson battled with bulimia and her self-image for 34 years.
Through perseverance she learned that we are designed to self
heal and found an alternative path to recovery employing mind,
body and spirit. Lori shares her personal story, information
and insights for holistic self-healing from her book, "It
Started With Pop-Tarts...An Alternative Approach to Winning the
Battle of Bulimia." She speaks at high schools, colleges
and universities about self-esteem, peer pressure, body image
and eating disorders. An entertaining and humorous speaker, she
challenges and inspires her audiences to search for and embrace
their personal power. Lori developed the Alternative Eating Disorder
Consultation Program and works with individuals to help them
find their personal power and recover.

I’m Still in Here: One family’s Journey with Bipolar
Disorder", Kate McLaughlin writes and speaks about all
things mental health (and other equally important stuff). She is
a member of the Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation, Depression
and Bipolar Support Alliance, the Juvenile Bipolar Research Foundation,
the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and Mental Health America,
and she participates in several mental health speakers’ bureaus,
frequently presenting to students, educators, parents, and mental

Susan Silberstein |

Dr. Silberstein is
author of the recipe book Hungry for Health, creator of the video
Breast Cancer: The Diet Connection, editor of Immune
Perspectives magazine, and originator of Philadelphia’s annual “Food & Health
Expo.” A frequent contributing writer and interviewee for
various health publications, she is featured in Rutgers University
Press’s Evaluating Alternative Cancer
Therapies.
Since 1977, she has coordinated dozens of health conferences,
has appeared on hundreds of radio and television talk shows, and
has counseled thousands of patients. In 1977, after the death of her
young husband to cancer, she founded the Center for Advancement
in Cancer Education, where she still serves as Executive Director. |

Radmacher is an entrepreneur, speaker and trainer for Participant
Centered Results and does workshops on living a full, creative,
balanced life. She creates one-of-a-kind posters using the
words of President William Jefferson Clinton for the Clinton Museum
store. Her words have inspired thousands to "Live with Intention" and "Live
Each Day as If It Were On Purpose." Her saying, "Courage
does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the
end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow,'" is cited
in the 2006 Oxford Dictionary of American Quotations. Her
first book, Lean Forward into Your Life, was published
by Conari Press in 2007. We will be discussing her newest book Live
